Syncros or Bontrager. Couldnt go wrong with either.

I'd like to know why you're deciding to switch to "flat" bars?

After spending many years riding various types of flat bars i've come to the conclusion that drops are superior in terms of hand positions, ergonomics.

Annnnnd... the best bar that i've EVER used is On-One's "Midge" drop bar.

I have a Poprad and rode the Bonty drops for a while. They were okay, but once i saw the Midge bar i had to have it. It is an amazing handlebar and comfort and control-- especially off-road-- are unparalleled.

I'd recommend that you give 'em some consideration.

You can order from zedsport.com or pricepoint.com. zedsport is the US distributor and also lists resellers. You might find a local source.

I was not a fan of midge bars, I tried them.

I'm switching to flat bars cause I just got a really good deal on a chorus flat bar group

I have a Poprad, and I hated the Bontrager drops that came with it -- for one thing, they were too wide. But switched to some Ritchey Bio-somethings, and I love those.

But I also love the flatbar I put on my Surly Long Haul Trucker. Granted, I use that bike as a town bike, but still. Love the flat bar with bar ends on that bike.

I guess i'll just continue to shill for On-One handlebars.

Check out their "Mary" bar. Not half as funky as those "H-Bars". Just as useful. Handlebar diameter is compatible with flat-bar brake and shifter clamp diameters.

Good luck on the build. Let us know how the Campy flat bar comes out. I was thinking of a Centaur for one of my bikes.
