From "Cycling news"

The US Postal-Berry Floor team has selected 14 riders for the upcoming Tour de France, of which nine will be chosen come race time. According to Het Nieuwsblad, team director Johan Bruyneel named Lance Armstrong, Roberto Heras, Jose Luis Rubiera, Manuel Beltran, George Hincapie, Viatcheslav Ekimov, Pavel Padrnos, Guennadi Mikhailov, Victor Peņa, Benoît Joachim, Floyd Landis, Max van Heeswijk, Christian Vandevelde and Steffen Kjaergaard.

Glad Floyd has made it back from his hip injury and of course it would not have been the same if George didn't recover from his illness.

It will be interesting to see who of the 14 get
picked for the final 9.

lets see. Armstrong, Heras, Rubiera, Eki, Floyd, Hincappie
are pretty much sure things. I'd add
Mikhailov to churn out high pace on flat stages
other than that, tough choices.

You really think they'd take Armstrong? That old, tired horse? Go figure!

;)

Pleas remember that real sports do not require balls.

That's a tough list. They brought Beltran in specifically to pace Lance up the mountains, so I would be very surprised if he were not on the team.
Floyd has been injured for a long time so maybe his fitness might not be up? My guess for the ones that get cut are:
Benoît Joachim, Floyd Landis, Max van Heeswijk, Christian Vandevelde and Steffen Kjaergaard.
Heeswijk and Hincapie are Classics men so those two might get booted from the team... but Hincapie is Lance's stablemate.
Kjaergaard deserves it but he deserved it last year and didn't get on. He really should be riding for Fakta, Rabo or Phonak and not wasting his time at Postal.
