Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - photos of folding fixed gears?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

it would be sweet to detach it mid skid and slide it sideways like a swing bike...

I've got a Dahon Boardwalk that I converted to fixed when my company was planning on moving to NYC from Hackensack and I was gonna have to take the Path in. It's not a bad bike... seat and bars are about where a normal bike's would be. It's a little sketchy sometimes at speed and I have this feeling sometimes it's going to fold up on me midsprint. Here it is prior to ridding it of reflectors, fenders and rack.

i was being sarcastically rolling my eyes when I wrote it...didn't mean it as a rebuke. the only reason I took the 3 seconds to search was because I am lazy and was avoiding all the work I should have been doing.

I love the bike with the moustachio bars and the honey Brooks. Classy folder.

I will give it a go and let you know how that works out for me.
check my sig for an updated version of my article. I have started riding on the track now which is a bit controversial with the small wheels and strange frame, but is a lot of fun. I will update the article soon with some photos of the bike in track mode: the bike looks so pimmed with shinny nitto drops, no brakes etc.
