hey, my names callum, nice too meet you all!!!! heres the lowdown, im 18 years old, live very need Cwmcarn. i've been riding road for a few years now, and absolutely love it, but im thinking of starting MTBing aswell, so basically i need lots of help and advice, firstly, can i get help with frame sizes. im 5ft, weigh 10 stone, and currently ride a 50cm road frame, what waould this translate too in MTB terms? any help/advice on all aspects of MTBing would be amazingly appreciated

When I was studying engineering at Loughborough over 40 yrs ago I had a friend from Cwmbran which is near you. Sorry I cant help, but you should ask this question on the Mountain bikes section. 10 stone = 140 lb as nobody in N America knows what a stone is.

Hello Callum, your best bet is to head over to the Mountain Bike forum and look at the stickies. Then slowly start asking questions. I suspect that most of your questions have been answered already. Oh, and I've got relatives in Clyderwen...:D
