i skidded flat a michelin something or another that i bought at bicycle doctor last thursday, it took about 75 miles to skid through, and i don't skid that much. anyway i want to go back to the old trusty vittoria rubino pros and need to get my new tire tomorrow afternoon, i commute from my day job to my night job from williamsburg to just above the flat iron building, where can i get rubino pros???

King Kog has some Rubinos. Not pros, but they're decent. I'd recommend Maxxis Detonators. They've lasted the longest out of any tire I've ridden. I think Paragon sports on Bway has some in. I was there this weekend and noticed they carried them.

i wasn't that far past trackstar when i flatted, i should have turned around and just been late for work. oh well, tomorrow i'm going to see what kingkog has during the day and failing that i'll walk to my night job and hit trackstar on the way, thanks, i always forget kingkog is there, even though i hate going to nyc bikes

yeah, dont roll into NYC bikes without a brake on. I got thrown outta the shop for bringing "bad karma" in...

Trackstar does have them and I've used them for about a year. Finally wore out. I thought they were pretty great. Tough and lively.

i was headded from my day job to my night job, it was about 7pm, also i've heard that nyc bikes hates the brakeless crowd, which is ********, i agree with their policy of not selling anything without a brake but no shop has the right to tell me how to ride my bike after its been purchased(my bike isn't from nycbikes, don't worry) also even though a few of the guys in nycbikes are great and very helpful there's that woman there that seems to know almost nothing about bikes and the fact that they don't sell grease is disconcerting, as in they only want to supply bikes for commuters and people that don't want to understand what they're riding...stupid shop

yeah, if you search you'll really read about how bad they are, i mean the woman who is clueless wouldn't be so bad but she's rude to boot, god i hate that shop the more i think about it. there's seriously 3 great guys that work there, then the woman and the owner are the problems(the woman might be the owner's wife)

King Kog has them, including some nos(it's been over a year since they made them) white in 700x20, also that's such a sweet little shop, they pack so much stuff into that little space, best shop in the neighborhood
