What is the best tire to race in the rain with (clinchers and tubulars)?

I race with clinchers for all, had tubular wheels at one point but gave up on them. Clincher technology seems to be catching up...
I'd say Conti Sprinters for general riding (rain included)
I haven't tried the VeloFlex yet but I hear they are
really sweet.
I've got a NOS pair of Clement Paris-Roubaix (I know not
Seta silks) that are outstanding.
Heard some good things about Gommitalia tubulars too.
Don't know about clinchers since I don't ride em.
