Thought I should say I. Very cool site, got pointed here from a telemark forum I frequent. I just made the jump from mountain biking to the road bike. I picked up a Cannondale CAAD8 (in extra fast red :D). I gotta say I'm hooked already.

Hello CYLax, yes, that Cannondale is extra fast in red! Before you know it, you will have as many bikes as I do--assuming you have the room for them :D .

Welcome to BF!

Oh man, that's what I was afraid of...if I start collecting bikes then my skis will get jealous...then who knows what will happen

There is always room for more toys at my place :D

I'm up to 12 bikes, and there's barely enough room...skis? Are you talking water or snow?

 Wow, quite the collection. I only have two, mtb and my cannondale. I ski on both water and snow, but the collection is all snow skis.

I was going to ask the stupid question of 'where do you go snow skiing in Ames?' and thought I should do some checking before I asked that :o .

Ya learn something new every day :) .

I also came from the world of mtbing - now I do both, as well as some cyclocross stuff. Many welcomes, and yes - you are indeed hooked.

Sounds as if you visit MN quite a bit...

Pretty much every weekend during the wintery months...travel slows down a little in the summer time.

Well, that's where the bikes come in--they fill in those long hours without snow.

You know, perhaps that's why I've got 12 bikes--one for each month...:D .
