Hello, All! I just got my Optima Lynx this afternoon. It is my first 'bent, and I like it very much! I'm wondering if there are any 'bent riders in my area for riding buddies. I live in Groton, CT, in between Mystic and New London.

You will be lucky to find other bent riders.
I would love to find someone else to ride with on a recumbent ,but it seems to be a very hard task.

Welcome fellow Lynx rider! I ride on the opposite coast but have found several bent folks I ride with here, including two others with Lynx.

Do a search for "recumbent" on Yahoo Groups
and you may get lucky.

There are a few of us scattered around the state who are 'bent.
One group with a number of weekly rides in the area east of
New Haven which has several recumbent riders as members is
the Connecticut Chapter of the AMC. Give their web site at
http://www.ct-amc.org/cycling/ a visit, show up for some
of the rides listed, and I'm sure you'll run into some of us.
