Allan,

I'm not in the Huntsville area, more like Dallas.
However if you are going to Ride 4 the Roses,
or Hotter than Hell, or any other organized ride
I'd be more than glad to ride with you.
If anything check out R4R at
Lance Armstrong Foundation (http://www.laf.org)
it is a great ride, great weekend and a very good cause.

Allan -

I live in Northeast Houston, but about every six weeks or so we head out to Huntsville to get some hills in. There is a great loop starting in New Waverly and heading through the park.

You might find some more people in your area (or at least frequent rides) by checking out the Woodlands Cycling Club bb - I think they do Huntsville rides on a regular basis - starting in New Waverly.

We would go up there more often, but it is about an 1.25 hour drive from my house, and almost 2 hours for most of the members of my club. (South Houston - Clear Lake area)
