Ok here goes.

my build is well on its way but i have what feels like a fatal problem.

I'm looking to run a 44 - 16T gear, my rear spacing is 130mm with a 68mm Shell.

With this it seems i need around a 110mm axle.

I'm stuck in finding a set of track arms that are happy with a 130mm rear spacing and will run a 130BCD Ring.

I have looked into the Stronglight ST-1000 which i have been told would be difficult to set up due to the rear spacing, the Sugino XD which only runs 110BCD which i believe is for 3/32 and 1/8 110 rings are rare, i want to run 1/8... arrrghhh..

i would really appreciate if anyone could direct me to a 130BCD Chainset that will be happy with 130mm Rear Spacing.

If it helps i am using a standard shimano freehub with a single speed spacer kit so i think this might help in finding the chain line.

please help, i wanna ride it.. in the UK btw :)

if your build is made up of bastard parts, stop being so picky about your crankset. Any ol' road crankset with the 1/8" ring of your choice will fit. Since you're using a SS kit, just fiddle with the spacers for alignment.

bit harsh but that told me !! just want to make sure i get the most important thing right.

sorry if that came off as harsh, didn't mean for it to be. I'm just saying that you have quite the hodgepodge already, so mixing and matching the rest of your build isn't going to be that big of a deal. Good luck.

besides... you can run a 1/8th chain on a 3/32nds chainwheel... just not the other way around...

You're running a SS conversion, right? Can't you just move the cog a bit farther inward with some spacers?

I fail to see an issue here.

ta makes 130 by 1/8" rings

Yep. TA or Rocket Ring if you want 1/8th. I guess I don't quite see the issue either. Between running the ring on the inside or outside and moving spacers around to get your cog in the right spot on the freehub you ought to be able to find a combo that gives you a nice straight chainline.

I'm assuming you have that single speed cassette spacer kit with two wide spacers (16 and 18mm?).
Try swapping them around, as well as experimenting with chainring placement on whatever cranks you end up with. ..or go and get a bunch of little cassette spacers so you can adjust your rear cog along the entire length of the cassette body.
