Maybe an AT?
Damn shame they went out of business.

Great deal and a real sweet way to find out if bents are for you. Gotta feeling you're gonna have a fun summer.
It looks like an AT (air technology) and probably a later model from the disk brakes. Happy riding.

I agree it looks like an AT but with added disk brakes. I owned one as my first recumbent. I'm not sure what year mine was because I bought it used back around November 2000, shortly before BikeE folded the company. The AT had a rear shock only and I think the one with both front and rear shocks was called the XT. Somewhere I have a list of all of the models from back in 2000 or so. It listed for about $1100 not including disk brakes.
It's probably the easiest recumbent for anyone to hop on and ride away. It has zero learning curve. It's not a light recumbent and it seemed like it took a vast amount of energy to pedal it but that was long before I got my recumbent legs. Mine had the SACHS internal rear hub and I had problems with it by the second year I owned it. SACHS (now SRAM) is a bear of a company to deal with for spare parts. Certainly not all SRAM products are a problem. My trike has SRAM Dualdrive and it has performed flawlessly for more than 10K miles. Enjoy it. I've met people who could ride one for 30+ miles without getting exhausted once they got used to it.

Yeah I just got through my yearly charity ride from Houston to Austin, aprox 180 miles and I don't think I could do 50 mi on it yet.. definately different leg muscles used. I like it so far, I have it rigged with my daughters Burley trailer and we take 2-3 mi rides in the neighborhood. It sure is smooth..

The old venerable 3x7 hub had a loyal following, including me. I never had a bit of trouble with it; I just put a few drops of oil in a couple of times per season and it did its thing. The hub didn't like to be mis-adjusted, but OTOH, it was pretty easy to adjust and wasn't anywhere as picky about the adjustment as a 9-speed derailleur.

It is an NX. You can tell because it is Green and equipped with both Hayes Hydraulic Disc Brakes and a Schlumpf Mountain Drive.
The NX was the only model offered in Green and was only produced for one or two years.

Yeah that mountain drive crank is really cool.. Looks like I got off good, the guy that sold it to me was the original owner, and told me that it was 1800 new.. but I was thinking that he was just giving me the sell.. Oh well,,, I love it so far..

+1!
The Schlumph by itself is more than twice what you paid for the whole kit & kaboodle!
You SCORED, dude!
And I'm a big fan of BikeE's too!
But our Schlumph is on one of the Greenspeeds.
OK, I'll just say it ...
"I'm jealous"!!! :D
So if you ever want to upgrade, I've got 2 Bills sitting here, with YOUR name on 'em! ;)
