Building off of Fubar's thread, "Easy Spin":
Early in my commuting days, I frequently overreached my abilities.
It felt so wonderful that I just pressed on, and on...no one told me of the problems of overtraining.
Well, I began biting off the heads of my wife and children. I even fell into mini "rages!" I could hardly believe it was me talking.
Later, I discovered that overtraining can make you that way. So if you ever find yourself turning from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde, :(
take a break. Let your body repair itself. ;)
