Tandem at the Ironman World Championships, Kona (http://www.spgym.com/images/2onbike.jpg)

this should take you to a picture of my wife and I riding our tandem at the Ironman Triathlon World Championships (2001)

Angie was the first-ever physically challenged female to compete at the Ironman World Champs.

(She is also featured in this months (july) Runner's World Magazine!)

Hey southportgym, I like those jersey's that you're wearing, and for that matter your whole outfit is coordinated and matching, I'm a big fan of matching stuff on the tandem, so it's good to see again...But the jersey's, both color and design, I would say very appropriate for where you were riding!!..

Great job, and keep it up!!

Thanks Benjamin-

Actually, B&L Bike Shop is a shop in Kona that hooked us up while we were there. We did a bunch of televsion/internet interviews, and they were filming us during the event, so B&L thought it would be good exposure for us to wear their stuff. Great folks out there!!!

Thanks, BAC! I'm obviously VERY proud of what my wife has been able to accomplish!

P.S. 5 weeks after IM Hawaii, we competed at Ironman Florida where she imporved by nearly 2 hours, finishing in 13:04.

Headed back to Ironman Florida this Nov.
