Blastinbob, did we ride in the past together? I hope you are not Blasting fast... I am just medium fast.I won't be blasting anything tomorrow, I just want to finish. I'm predicting that I will have 11:45 to 12 hr ride time depending on the wind on the way back. SSW is not what I was hoping for.

I did the metric double with some friends. Perfect weather, good food, good route except for PCH, (I hate PCH). Saw M.E., Magicant, UMD, Whitecarbondude, Roadfix, (yes, he was riding fixed gear),and others I'm forgetting, as the routes crossed a few times.

I'm back in SD. This is my first double metric, and while it's fun, I like regular centuries better. After today, I know I won't be able to do a regular double.

At the times I didn't get dropped, I rode with Karen, Laura, Rick, Patrick and Alan from start to finish; but we always regroup at rest stops.
