Thanks everyone! He did great, had a little harder time on the way there because of the headwinds, but once we turned around, the boy decided he wanted to race me! Before long he will be dropping his mommy. ;) :p

Oh...and he wanted to know if we did that ride two more times, if he can join a BF ride. :p

:roflmao: :roflmao: I know...I felt it. At one point, okay several points but I'll just tell you about this once, I was coasting and he fell back. I asked him to speed it up and looked back and saw that he was coasting too...I said "you need to pedal!" and he replies "I'm just doing exactly what you're doing!" :roflmao: After that I had him ride in front of me. :p

I'm thinking that I'm not the best person to show him the ropes, I don't have the patience to go 8mph on a road bike. He's been waiting for George to take him out riding ever since he noticed the coaching sign on his car. I'll have to bug him about that again.

It took Gabriel a while to get used the shorts ... now he won't ride without them!

Riding with the kid is so fun, isn't it? I now ride with my thirteen year old. He can put in about 25 miles without complaining. Tomorrow I'm likely to hear a bit of complaining. We plan on pedaling about 35 miles.
