Shopping around currently on Craig's list and hoping to get my first road bike this weekend. Will post a picture when I find one that fits.

Otherwise new to the bike scene and hoping that I don't run in to many problems on my quest to save on gas.

Hello Team D, don't be afraid to buy a vintage bike, either. Some of us love those steel bikes with lugs :D .

Hey Team D,

I am that other Austinite who joined today. Buying a bike is purely personal choice...but I went with a Schwinn Prelude from Target for $199. Since I am new I figure I need to test the waters before pluging in. Whatever you decide hope you have fun!
