I just got a CS400 which supposedly keeps track of your trip miles and cummulative miles. I like to keep a track of how many miles are on my bike so the first thing I do when I get a new computer is input the current mileage into the odometer so the new computer starts where the old one left off. Can that be done with Polar??? I don't want to reset it to 0, I want to change it to a specific number.

Programmable Odometer. You can change the total mileage shown when you do the setup functions so that you're not starting from 000.

Awesome. Any idea how to get into it from the main screen? I can't find it and the polar manual is horrrrrible. Thanks!

I have the Polar 720i, so I don't know if this also applies to the CS400:

If you have the PC software and a link to your Polar, you can use the PC program to set the Polar's odometer. It's accessed through one of the tabs in the window that's displayed when you're linked.

The only problem with setting the odometer is that it resets the clock. You then have to set the clock again.

Ugh, I guess I can do that as a last resort (if its the same for the cs400). That requires me finding and dusting off the old IBM ThinkPad. Polar and Garmin are both mac-unfriendly.

Thanks!!!
