Hi, I just the forum joined today. I got a new bike a couple of weeks ago and I am slowly putting miles on it. I had a 10 speed in the 70's and I had a mountain bike in the 80's but haven't been riding for about 15 years. I got a Trek 1500 and it is nice. I took it back after a week and had clipless pedals installed. I think I have figured out how to unclip in time to keep from falling when I stop. I live near the airport so I'll try a trip around the airport perimeter this weekend.

Hello tzwsp4, that Trek 1500 is a great bike for your first bike back! Don't worry, you will fall over at least once with your pedals. No shame in that, EVERYONE has done it at least once :D .

You might want to check out the regional forums (within this Community section), and say hi to the locals.

Welcome to BF!
