Hope this is the right forum. I currently have the TREK INCITE 11i (wired cyclometer with rear wheel mount) and now want to attach/install my new Garmin Edge 305 with HR and Cadence. Can I have both on the bike and still have all the features of both?
The Trek has cadence as does the Garmin. Do I have to remove the Trek magnets or can I have both? I haven't totally read the manuals but thought I could get a head start on gathering information.
Thank you in advance for any information you can share.
???

why two???
if you wanted to you may just try putting it on the other crank...the mag that is...

No reason you can't have 2 if you can get them read off 1 magnet each for speed and cadence or as long as the 2 magnets on the cranks and wheel are far enough away from each other that the sensors don't read both.
I would imagine you could use the Trek magnet as long as it is mounted on the crank arm and it lines up with the Garmin cadence sensor that you have to mount on the left chain stay. Everything else should work out.
