Mountain Biking - Need your help quick!!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I might be trading in my bike a second time! The Diamondback Outlook that I got for $199.99 doesnt compare to the bike and price that I saw today. My lbs is selling a Trek 4100 for only $229.99!!!!!!!! I asked what was wrong with it and they said nothing.
Is the Trek a better bike than the Diamondback?

Absolutely positively, don't hesitate, take the Diamondback immediately and put a deposit down on the Trek.
Actually, you really have to test ride it and see how it "FEELS". If it's not comfortable, it doesn't matter how little you pay.
If you like the way it rides, I'd say get it. It's a good deal for an entry-level bike that'll get you out on the trail. Just be leary, if you get INTO this sport, you'll soon outgrow the Trek and/or the Diamondback and you'll be wanting a new bike soon!

It took me a year to come to my senses and fork up beyond a grand for a nice rig. This year I have bought a car and a bike.. now I'm broke. :D
