Classic & Vintage - Huret FD with 1" clamps?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I have a couple of NOS Huret FD's with 1" clamps. They are also marked as such (1") at the back part of the clamp. One of them is marked "Schwinn Approved) on the front of the clamp, and Huret on the cage. The other is marked Huret at both locations. Otherwise they are identical. They are also marked "1983". Question is, what bikes would have taken a 1" clamp-on FD?? All the bikes I have appear to be the standard 1 1/8". Thanks!
During the 1970s boom, there were three common seat tube diameters. 1" (25.4mm) was found on many lower end bicycles manufactured in the USA. The French used 28mm, which is closest to 1-3/32". Most other manufacturers used 1-1/8" (28.6mm). Around the mid-1980s 1-1/4" (31.7mm) started to gain popularity, particularly in aluminum farmes.

Schwinn Electro Forged frames, namely Varsitys and Continentals, but there were a few others.
Thanks, sounds like I have a couple nice NOS vintage schwinn deraillers then!
