Yo, so I need to sublet my room for the summer. From may until september.

I figured I'd give anyone on here a heads up. Considering I live with a handful of kids that are down with bikes.

It's 270 a month. and right near Benna's cafe in south philly.

I'm getting desperate.

Serious. I'm paying a bit more than that down at Rittenhouse. This city has some good-but-cheap places but also has some "HOLY CRAP are you serious??" places that are priced out of this world.

Hocam
04-23-07, 04:51 PM
Paying 205 now living with 5 others in a 6 bedroom which works out pretty well. In 2 months it will be 200 even living with 2 others in a 4 bedroom and it's my friends house he just bought but further southwest.

The key to living cheap in philly is big houses with handfuls of people.

That and the veggie trucks on 44th an walnut.

I share a crib with my lady in Rittenhouse for $750 or $377.50 each. Locust Real Estate is the people to talk to. They own a bunch of incredible (history-wise) houses that aren't kept well, but for a one bedroom at that price I'll live with the leaky window.

I recommend Queen Village. Society Hill quality at South Philly prices. And you're perfectly triangulated to hit any one of a number of prominent cheesesteak joints. Speaking of, maybe I need some Jim's...

haha sounds like you live like one block from me. I pay the same for a 1 bedroom but live alone. The area is nice though so I don't mind.

Howdy neighbor! I'm at 22 and Spruce. Not for long, though. We bought a house in south Philly, moving in June. My girl's bike is locked outside, green Schwinn Breeze. One of mine that gets locked outside is a blue Schwinn Collegiate threed speed. If you see me, say hey!

Long story, but I got a job going on tour with a traveling carnival.

I'll be in pa, west virginia, virginia, ohio, and some other places.

Also, if anyone is interested, I need to know soon.

Only rule is, no non vegan food in the house, no tobacco/alcohol/drugs in the house either.

Other than that, it's all good.

Well, if you (or anyone else) wants to move out into deep west philly to a sweet house on the cheap (245) let me know. Were getting a house in June.

its 3 bdrms, full basement , 1.5 baths, 2nd story deck off the kitchen, perfect bike garage on street level.

54th and sansom!

you're all haters.

Maybe some of us just want to see real resistance to real societal problems, maybe some of us believe in active resistance.

with how ****ed up everything is in modern society, the absolute least you can do is not participate.
