Boy was it cold this morning. I took Gab for a short ride this morning. He can't we to get Team Wheaties reunited. Doc says May 1st mom can start riding again !!!

He has not been able to put many miles on the bike this year ... baseball season. Geez baseball is SO damn time consuming at least 4 days a week :eek: I told him if he wants to race next year he has to make a choice. It doesn't matter to me, but of course I would prefer cycling .

I hope this will never be an issue, but are you sure his helmet will stay positioned on his head if he ever needs it with the strap dangling so loosely?? Just an observation...

Hey you did some of my favorite bike trails!

I love getting out and seeing all the litte ones out on bikes with their parents. I wish my parents and I had experiences like that to share (my dad always worked and mom was just busy with other stuff). It's great you are getting out with the little one and giving him some good memories of just he and his Dad riding the trail. It's a good thing!:)

Little gromit's got better clothes than I do. And better glasses, helmet, shoes, and handlebar lion.

I totally forgot about the little Lion. The story behind it is:
After a ride we go to this Burger joint for lunch. Well there is this cute girl that always waits on us. One day she told us she was going to Europe for 6 weeks. Gab said in a sad little face "I'm gonna miss you" .... well that did it she was sad too (what a sucker). She came back 6 weeks later and told him "This is from my country (in a Borat kinda voice) it represents the strength of a Lion" or something to that effect. So what does Gab do he attaches it to his bike and says "I will think of you when I ride", Geez I nearly PUKED !! Yeah I joked with him about the little lion and said to him "you think you are all tough and everything, but you still have a little bear hanging from your bike". His reply was "you are just jealous because she didn't give you one!" I frowned for a few seconds and started to think about what he had said, I never said anything else about the "little Lion" ... after all he was right.
