There was a lack of video from the Tour de Georgia during the event, but some has been posted by the organizers now and I've collected them on my 2007 Tour de Georgia Summary Page (http://www.steephill.tv/2007/tour-de-georgia/):
Stage 5: Brasstown Bald Finish (http://www.steephill.tv/2007/tour-de-georgia/#stage-5-results)
Stage 6: Highlights (http://www.steephill.tv/2007/tour-de-georgia/#stage-6-results)
Stage 7: The last 10 minutes (http://www.steephill.tv/2007/tour-de-georgia/#stage-7-video)

Thanks for the link and the vids. I am still in total awe of the speed that Levi came by us on the top of Brasstown. The man can't be human

hey steephill, just a curiosity but did the FF logo on your STage 6 summary come from my site:

I sure would feel good about myself if my photochopping ended up on Steephill!

I got it from this forum so it was your idea, but you are off the hook since I've replaced it my version.

Levi did look like he sailed up the climb in the video. They must not have flimed him on the really steep part because even the pros weave a little at that point.

I was at the middle of the Wall, and he didn't weave a bit. He came by looking absolutely perfect on the bike- far better than anyone else in the race. As garysol said, he was flying! We saw a fair number of wider-range cassettes (25s and possibly even a 27), and some of the guys were running 38 tooth chainrings. By comparison, I'm a fairly decent cat 4 and I can get up the Wall without weaving, but to do so I have to run a 34 in the front with a 27 in the rear. And I've never attempted it after 105 race miles, though when we went back and did it on Saturday we were 70 miles and 5 gaps into our long day.
holy **** are those announcers annoying on stage 7

I think Dave Towle is good. (He's the really obnoxious one). He is a little bit over-the-top, but the act is for the partying crowd which is a different audience then the jealous, armchair observer. Can you imagine how low-key the cycling.tv guys would sound at a live event.
Did anyone else hear Dave borrow a resurrected boxing line when the Toyota-United rider crashed: "... and DOWN goes Frazier" (http://www.steephill.tv/entries/euclid-spill/).

Thanks for the video, but why does everyone always add cheesy music?

Couple thoughts:
1. Loved how Levi waved to someone at the end!
2. Watching Levi go up versus everyone else - Danielson did NOT let him win like they implied. Danielson was struggling and pushing, Levi never once looked like that.

You've raised a debatable point. IMHO, the right music can improve a bike video, but the music for the Brasstown Bald video wasn't helpful. Music should be used sparingly in race videos because people want to hear the whizz of wheels, sounds of screaming fans and the ambient noises.
