Hi everyone,
as stated in the title, I'm looking for a good online store to get a Redline 925. Harris cyclery and some other places say Redline does not allow them to be shipped, yet some other stores like beyondbikes.com and others will ship them. I am just curious if anyone knows of any other places online that will ship them, so i can try to get the best price from the best store.
I would LOVE to patronize a local LBS (My little town has 3!!) but the only one nearby that is a Redline dealer is not very well liked by me. Any Ideas? Thanks.

I think performance does redline. I just turned my 925 into a fixed cx bike... I'm a pig of a man.

Just noticed beyondbikes.com says "Available In Store Only" even though there are shipping estimates and I went partway through checkout (shipping is $31 for the Redline, btw) what gives?

couldn't agree with you more.

your local shop should have an easier finding one than you have.

Yeah like I said I would rather patronize an LBS. I emailed all the dealers Redline listed (that had email addresses). Got one back from my closest (and not preffered) LBS. They said they don't carry Redline ,and would I like to look at a Giant Bowery(aluminum) or a Schwinn Madison (heard ok things about in forums, but not my cup of tea). Like I said earlier my town (well actually the town over) has 3 LBS's (on the same street no less).
The only one listed(incorrectly) as a Redline dealer as I have said is not to my liking. The owner is always very pushy and patronizing. I've worked a lot in retail and I know the guy has a business to run, but anytime I've been in there it only seems like he's interested in my money.
I will probably try the one LBS I do like. The owner is the only one who works there for some reason, yet is always friendly (plus his prices are excellent). He always helps me find exactly what I want without patronizing me or making me feel cheap for not getting the best parts. I would have tried him already but I do not think he's a Redline dealer. If what mvillan says is true (that Redline sells to anyone) then I have another reason to not like the other mentioned LBS.
I'm open to other fixed gear options (which have been extensively covered in other threads) but the Redline to me has the best stock parts for the price, and I love the way it looks. My other choice would be a Surly Steamroller. Any other comments?

Good news found a nearby LBS that can order what I'm looking for. Thanks everybody for putting me on the right track!! I would rather keep the LBS's of the world up and running instead of saving a few bucks sacrificing service.

Have your LBS order it from Seattle Bike Supply. My shop tech is ordering my 925 today..hopefully I'll have it by the weekend. :) I've already started thinking about how to make it a better bike for me. My first addition will be some CB Egg Beaters, bullhorn bars and I'll modify the fenders a bit for a more "racy" appearance."
