Hi, I just got a new road bike frame and am pretty new to building from the ground up. I was wondering what is the difference between threaded and threadless headsets and if I got a threadless headset does that mean I need to get a threadless stem too?[SIZE=1][FONT=times new roman][SIZE=1]

yes, threadless headsets go with threadless forks, thus you will need to use the stems for threadless forks. And threaded headsets with threaded forks. But you can still use the threadless stems provided that you use an adaptor(w/c acts just like a stem for threaded forks).

enjoy!
