View Full Version : Let me get this straight. . .
The french lab that recently tested Floyds TDF other stage samples tested the "A" samples as all negative and now that they have retested all of the "B" samples without neutral observation they "all" test positive. This is simply not possible unless the testing is flawed or the samples were spiked. How could they get such a result if the testing procedures were valid. This shows that the testing procedures are not repeatable and hence not valid. They are obviously covering up incompetent lab procedures.

They all tested - for 4:1. The lab is evaluating endo vs. exo T (assume via cabon isotope).

The retest included isotope testing to detect synthetic testosterone. That test is not run unless there is a reason to. In the initial testing the sample 'passed' the testo-epi ratio so this expensive test was not run.
A test that is not run never gives a positive result
Now the test has been run and it detected synthetic testosterone.
OK, it makes sense but I am still suspicious of the way USADA is handling the whole affair.
In fact they should stop testing for T since it is only used to aid recovery in endurance athletes. It does not enhance performance.
