My PT CPU is stuck on "host" mode and refuses to power off. Is there a way to reset the CPU without losing any data? I really don't want to lose today's ride.

take the battery out. you wont lose the data. this happened to me the first day i used it.

I was hoping removing the battery wouldn't cause data loss but didn't want to take a chance, thanks much!
