Hi all

I've been tooling around on the site for a few weeks now and thought i'd finally register and start posting etc.

Long story short, got seirous with biking all of last summer so i've still got a lot to learn. Currently i ride a Trek 5500 bike that i got from my late grandfather who is the reason i got seirous with riding last summer.

I'm in the middle of madison right now and i'm missing the country roads of my native hartland.

Anywho, i hope to learn a lot for everyone here!

Brad

Hello Brad, nothing like starting off with pretty much the top of the line, eh? It sounds as if your grandfather was a smart man.

I think we can look forward to hearing some more stories from you in the future. In the meantime, check out the Great Lakes (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=233) regional forum and say hello to the rest of the WI folks.

Welcome to BF!

Thanks East Hill.

He knew what he was up to, bikes were his passion. I can't remember exactly what it was, but he had a gold road bike with a Y frame, that's sitting in his garage. It's noticibally lighter than mine.

Either way, i love my bike and am glad to have it.

As far as stories go, i don't have any good ones yet, i'm going on my first big ride June 2nd (100K). After that we'll see where the wind blows...
