My 20 month old son has outgrown his infant helmet, so now I need to get a toddler sized helmet. Any recommendations for a helmet that doesn't have a point in the back (makes life easier in the trailer)?

They made little toddler rollerblade kits that come with knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, and a skateboard style helmet. I saw them at K-Mart for 20 bucks or so just last week.

We had a really inexpensive no-name helmet we got at Target that never really fit our 3 year old right. We finally sprang for a Lazer toddler helmet with adjustment in the back. The 3 year old who used to hate his helmet now often refuses to take it off at dinner; e.g. he likes it and it is comfortable. Lazer claims it will last until he is 4 or 5; the adjustability certainly seems it would work. We picked up another of the same helmet for our 20 month old; it barely fits, but on the smallest adjustment does work. The helmet was about $30, but we figure a) both boys actually like wearing them and b) we won't have to buy as frequent replacements. And the youngest will wear it in the trailer, while the 3 year old rides his own bike. A few other companies make similar helmets.
We have a Giro Me2. The best things about it are the non-pinch buckle (although that hasn't stopped me ctahcing a bit of skin occasionally) and the ease of adjustability via a knob at the back; it just makes getting the helmet on and off so easy.
