It's been a good week for Gerolsteiner... perhaps they got rid of all their bad karma? Schumi at Amstel and now Rebellin at F-W, not too bad!

The finish was good. For a minute I thought DiLuca had them covered, then he dropped back, but made a comeback to get third.

I enjoyed watching it, thanks to cyclingtv. The Belgian TV coverage was poor, however. Twice breaks were covered and they were on to something else, and everyone was confused. One needed the start sheet to keep track of where everyone was.

i missed all but the last 300 meters of the race, but i'm surprised to hear that you had issues with the belgian coverage.

not 100% sure who does the ardennes races, but i think it's RTBF (http://www.rtbf.be/info/sports/index.htm), not Sporza, which may explain it.

amstel was far from great - they didn't show schumacher crossing the finish line.

Interesting...keep the rubber on the road and Gerolsteiner is getting some results.

I especially like Schumacher's victory at Amstel after reading the piece about him in ProCycling magazine. I think it was ProCycling.

Well, the guys doing the commentary were talking about the Belgian coverage, but didn't say who was doing it, from what I heard.

Rodriguez goes on the break from DiLuca and Kirchen...they show the groups, pan areound for a while and then suddenly there's Rodriguez going backward and they guys were surprised to see him. Generally they show the rider getting picked up...they didn't. That happened a couple of times. They were comparing it to Amstel coverage. Peloton caught the break caught Rodriguez. Surprise.

However, it's pretty cool to sit in my office and watch live cycling from Europe...

Besides, only in Flanders do they really understand the sport.:D

Wallonia? C'mon....:D

I'm happy to see him doing mediocre this time of year... it's a good sign that he's planning to be on form for the Tour, when I'd love to see him shine.

Levi is hosed for the Tour because he's in such great shape now. Shame.

Yeah, but Leipheimer has demonstrated that he's no Landis... I'm not writing him off, but he's not on my short list of Tour Favs...

I sure would like him to do well though, just to see his wife bouncing up and down in the stars and stripes bikini again on the climbs :)
