Rides and Races - Golden Gate Park?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Saw this craigslist ad (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/318327942.html) in my RSS digest of the San Francisco bike classifieds:
Every tuesday night start time 5:30 Golden Gate Park.
That's all it says, anyone know anything about it? There's no reply-to e-mail in the ad and I'm wondering whether it's going to be an alleycat, track racing at the Polo Field, or training circuits/crits - or something else entirely. I suppose I'll just tool around Golden Gate Park next Tuesday around 5:00 until I see something that looks like the makings of a race.

This is a roadie training ride, I think they do it tuesdays and thursdays. Can't remember where it starts, but if you hang out where the buffalo grazing field is, you'll see them pass by.
Also check out the track around the polo fields in the park...just watch out for the soccer players and soccer moms!

Thanks, I cross posted (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=291957) the question in the racing forums and got in touch with a guy who does it regularly. Apparently Tuesdays is the main hard ride, Thursdays has less people and is less intense. I haven't made it out yet (work/school), but I'm planning on checking it out next Tuesday.
