IRO is great, but the Angus geometry is a bit tight for me...

So I built up a Steamroller with an IRO drivetrain and wheelset! Charcoal Pearl and black. :D

I thought about getting the Steamroller "Complete" but was turned off by the maroon frame and Alex rims. :(

Anyway, check it out: http://www.awry.ws/node/47

Weird, I thought it was the roadies that were the pretentious dicks. You silly hipsters are so funny.

damn, what's with all you haters??? i'm just pscyhed about my new rig... i wasn't really looking for your approval. bullhorns or drops, steamroller or angus... it's all personal choice. in my case, personal choice dicated by physical build (the angus top-tube is too short for me, and i also like the extra reach of the bullhorns).

pretentious dick? i dunno where that's coming from... if you don't know me, you have no business judging me. and if you knew me, you'd know that i'm not pretentious at all. a bit of a dick at times... well that's another story. :-)

I chalk it up to snobby little kids who think that they were *first* to ride a fixed gear cycle and others are taking away from their exclusiveness, like when rich womens' handbags go mainstream.

Ignore 'em, they'll be doing the same thing in the 'burbs over BBQ grills in a few years....

Haha, "pretentious dick" was said in your defense, awry (i.e. referring to isotopesope).
At least I hope so...

Yeah, we wouldn't want to fill up the sub-forum with useless threads.

Still, BMX > Velo

Why? What's wrong with the angle? If I look like a jackass, at least tell me why. ;) Though, I have to say that they're pretty comfortable for me there... so I'm not sure I care!

Oh, I see... yeah, they're kinda vertical in those pics. That was before I tuned and adjusted everything... I'm not actually riding like that. ;)

+1 The pretenious dick comment was not aimed at the OP, just all the haters. The bike looks good man. Has a nice stealth feel to it.

It's just their way of showing the love. Nice ride, btw.

We need more space for "things you like, things you hate, things you feel ok about, things you sort of hate, things you dont enjoy, things you sort of but not really but at the same time you especially feel sort of about"

Dude, fixed gear riders are so hardcore punk that we drink beer in the shower like "**** the system"
