Hi all,

I am currently using my 2004 Axis for commuting and I was thinking about adding fenders (it rains in the Southwest in the summer more than in the winter).

The problem is that the Bianchi carbon fork does not have threaded ends. Has anyone replaced this carbon fork with a model that accommodates fender hardware? If so, can you pass along manufacturer and model name?

Thanks for any and all help.

Rgds,

Marley

Seems like an expensive move just to add a front fender. Have you thought about using zip-ties or something like that to attach the fender stays to the bottom of the fork arm? You can also make some clips to go around your fork arms to mount the stays to - just visit your HW store, get some rubber and bendy metal strips, drill some holes for the bolts, etc. and wrap them around the fork arms.
