Does anyone know of any rides around Fort Worth that has some good hills. I'm not a good climber and have very few hills to practice on. As it is now I have one that I ride up and back down over and over, gets a little boring.

Try going on some of the FWBA rides. The ones that go west out of fort worth tend to have some climbs.

Depends on where you are - youre welcome to come out with the Texas Wheels. We meet at 6pm Tues and Thurs at the Joe Pool Lake marina and it's a very hilly fast 30miles. FWBA also does rides in Aledo all the time - west of FW and it's quite hilly there as well.

I believe the Muenster ride is this weekend and is sure to have it's share of hills and climbing.

Ceder Hill is where the Texas Wheels meet on Tues and Thurs - great hills there!

As others have mentioned, it's hilly just west of Fort Worth. I live near Academy Blvd. and White Settlement Road, and a typical 30 mile ride for me is to go west on White Settlement Road to Lake Weatherford and back. There are almost no flat portions. You're welcome to come ride with me sometime if you'd like. John

I live in Granbury and can attest to some great hills southwest of Fort Worth. Benbrook to Mineral Wells to Stephenville to Glen Rose has some great roads and hills to go with them. FWBA (fwba.org) does rides every day with multiple rides to pick from on occasion.
