Commuting - 40 Hot Women on the commute this morning

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm riding along the Cherry Creek path this morning on my short commute to work and notice a large crowd of people walking with garbage bags. I wonder if it's some high school kids on a morning outing. As I approach I notice all of them are women and virtually all of them a incredibly cute. I had to stop since they were blocking the path and as one of them walked past, I asked what was going on. She was very friendly and told me they were from the Aveda Institute downtown. I must have looked completely dumbfounded because she kind of giggled and then kept walking. I wanted to ask more questions about what they were doing, but it was kinda hard to talk with my mouth gaping open and drool coming down my chin. It was a pleasant surprise on my way into work and actually was the best part of my day. I hope the Aveda Institute keeps sending them down. Next time I'll volunteer to help. :)

were they actually cleaning up decently? I've noticed good looking people seem to do worse at that kinda stuff.

it took me a 2nd read to realize they were not wearing the garbage bags.
thats what cyclists do, not beauty consultants
this is why I like that my route takes me by a large college campus! I generally see 5-10 cute young women every day.

What? No pictures? ;)
It was likely a (late) Earth Day event. Next year, sign up for it.
The fact that they were giggling at you seems to have had no effect. I will now present you with your official cyclist's badge. You done real good!

Hope my wife never figures out the college route is my favorite!:D

I noticed some people cleaning up on the Cherry Creek path also, but these folks looked more like high school kids. There were boys and girls. I thanked them as I passed by, but no real jaw-dropping Aveda beauties like you must have seen.
Found some info on Aveda Inst. celebrating Earth Day: http://www.avedadenver.com/aveda_news.php. Good for them!

Damn you all with your college routes. All I have are an elementary, middle, and high school on my routes. The good news is I work for a health care facility with lots of cute nurses, techs, residents, administrative, college students and voluteers.:D
^^^^Very cute girls. I might go in for a pedicure.
I have a nice 10 mile route, the majority of which is the Lake Shore Drive bike path along the beaches. I cant wait for the weather to change here in Chicago.

considering Aveda Insititute, i.e. high dollar beauty college, should we be that surprised they were late? ;) <duck>

That is especially impressive cause yesterday the entire bike path was flooded. All you could see was river.

Hey I just realized I pass right by an Aveda Institute (Carsten) every PM commute home. I see the students often, wearing white with black aprons.

Ya those good looking people are always coasting on their hotness. I bet those girls were leaving more garbage behind then they were picking up. Probably the ones that bothered to get out of bed and actually show up at the clean up were only the B grade hotties. The REALLY hot girls stayed home and had a hot tub party with Jay Leno..... :D
Get a grip!

The SRT and Burke-Gilman trails are always clean because every weekend there's a volunteer crew out cleaning up, or cutting back weeds and shrubs.
They even wear matching coveralls with their team name on the back:
"King Co. Correctional Centers"
:D

Did anyone actually SEE Cherry Creek yesterday??? I crossed over yesterday around 8:30 PM, looked down and the 'creek' was flooded from wall to wall... the path was under 2 feet of water!
From the debris along the Platte trail this morning it flooded pretty well, too.
Good that there were crews out there this morning cleaning up! :)

Yep, on the southeast corner, I ride north on rural and turn right on southern, often having to wait for institute students to cross southern, even after the crosswalk light changes from flashing to solid orange - someday if I'm not careful I'll get a power facial

It didn't help much. The trail is a pathetic mess today. Sand drifts, piles of trash, tree debris, etc everywhere. I suppose they could have been cleaning up a different part of the trail.
Cyclists are supposed to lead with their hands and heads, not their, um... hearts...
I happen to know a girl who is a top notch beauty AND has brains.
The plan is to ask her out this week, but I'm pathetic. What were we talking about?

No kidding. All I saw on the CC path this morning were mounds of sand and mud, including one so large I had to actually get off and walk across it. It reminded me why I almost never ride it on my (short) commute anymore. I much prefer the company of cars () to peds and mud.

Lets see here,,, plotting my first bike trip to, oh, I dunno,,, maybe the Denver area,,, hmmmm,,, heard that there is a nice path along a scenic creek, yea,,, that sounds good. So, from the nor'eastern corner of Hoosierana, will be about 1200 miles, so,,, How many weeks of vacation do I have remaining?!?!? :D
After Memorial Day I will alter my route to take me by a couple of swimming pools.

Good Lord!!!!!!! What a way to stick out the chest and throw back the shoulders, pedal a little harder, and get there with a smile. :)
Most of the trash-picker-uppers in this area are convicts. They ain't cute by any stretch.
Heck, I never pass cute girls on my commute (Except when I pass my daughters' room on the way out the door. Those are the cutest girls on the planet!).

I avoid looking at girls. Jail bait!
I prefer the ladies. Especially those who take care of themselves and are fit. Cycling through Washington Park takes me a fair amount of time while I appreciate the view. :)

yup, same here, I live right 2 miles from my alma mater and my route to work takes me right through campus. definitely some fiiiiiine women and it's gonna get even better now that the weather is warmer.

I never saw a beautiful woman on my commute, but I often see a prostitute. There's a fat bottom fixie chick I sometimes reel in on WVa. Ave. NE who is kinda cute.
