Hello,
I just wanted to brag a little... We are a small carfree family in Seattle. My partner was doing the laundry at the laundromat about 2 miles from our home. She doesn't have an xtracycle and uses our Burley Nomad whenever she needs to carry a bulky load. She is a birth doula. While doing the laundry she got called to a labor at a major hospital in the city. She called me and asked me if I could finish the laundry and bring it home. Not a problem :D
(I never saw the need for a trailer hitch on the xtracycle... I might have to reconsider).
