Hey.. Just got into cycling about 5 months ago.. just recently built up a new road bike.. A steel F.Moser frame and new 07 Campagnolo components... For about 2 weeks now I've been riding everyday to and from school(about 12 miles) then maybe another 10-20 miles just for fun.. I get tired pretty easy when Im riding hard trying to keep up with my buddys..(legs burning also) .. my legs get a little sore after a nice ride..
any advice, feelings, thoughts, feedback, questions...

also just wanted to know if anyone here can give me some information on training properly...
websites or whatever...
thank you.!

...first, nice bike.

+1 when I first began to ride more seriously, though I will not race for a while yet, I found the "Bible" to be a very informative starting point...check your school library or most any large bookstore with a sports/training section will carry it...

Until then...keep riding--your commute will become more tollerable and your ride with friends will become less stressful on your body.

After a hard ride you should consume a "recovery" drink ...carbs+protein in a 4:1 or 3:1 ratio. (do a search, tons of suggestions) this will help with the soreness.

Have fun!
