Great shots. Only recommendation (coming from mtb photographer recently migrating to photographing road racing) is to find a section of trail with a bit more action. The sections you were on were smooth, flat, and easy. Makes for much better photos if the terrain is difficult.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!! I will attempt to plan my shooting sites with course difficulty in mind. It was a bit of a hike to get back into the woods on this course and with them only doing 4 laps of a seven mile loop, I was making sure to maximize my opportunities each time they went by, but a more difficult section of the course is definitely in order.

Yea!!! We have our first race event this weekend and I was going to post a couple pics. Only good ones of course.
