I'm so going to the event this Sunday in Bushnell Park, Hartford, CT. Sounds like fun. Live music, wheelie contest, SKIDDING contest...

I'm borrowing my girlfriend's kid's modern replica banana seat bike that he's never ridden. This event will probably push me to find a true vintage one for myself. I've thought about buying one off and on for a few years.

a person in the New Haven (near me) Craigslist replied back that he still has a Murray Eliminator for sale, so maybe I'll get that in time to ride there.

Looks like fun. Too bad I live several hundred miles away.

Sounds like I should set my frankenbike muscle bike up like in HS with both hand brakes going to the rear wheel and jouney on over there... I'm not into wheelies any more, but I'll bet at over 300 pounds I could skid with the best of them... At least as far as distance.

Do you think that 26" wheeled muscle bikes would be allowed?
