I'm going to be chatting with a friend this afternoon. He works for Sram. If anyone has any questions about the gruppo, I'd be glad to pass it along.

See if they'll be doing hubs any time soon.

They make great stuff on and off road
And they have great customer service also
Just a batch of bad brakes
At lease they did the right thing and did a recall

Sorry Ronjon, Sean... he doesn't work in retail. He works for neutral race support.

So if I start racing will he give me some parts and a stand for support?:roflmao: :roflmao:

Nope, but he can swap out your wheel with a Zipp 404 or, if your bike gets seriously damaged, a nice Sram-equipped Orbea so you can finish the race. ;)

(Sram + Orbea + Zipp = race support team)

Race Support? Forget the discount, I want free stuff ;-)

SRAM did a great job on the brake recall. I checked my Force calipers, found out they were indeed the recalled production. One phone call to their 800 number, and in three days I had new calipers and a UPS bag to return my recalled calipers.

Fast, easy, no problems!

As long as we're on the subject of SRAM, I love my Force group (compact). Works great!

Best Regs,
Rick / OCRR

Yes, SRAM has excellent support. Had a issue with my Force rear derailer. Within 3 days I had a new one delivered to my door no questions asked from SRAM Corp.

Your point being? It's better that they found it early on rather than letting it go
