It was 1982, the night of my junior prom. My date and I were in a hotel room in Waikiki. I had my Sony boombox and a meticulously crafted mix tape ("The Love Mix" written on the Maxell cassette label) to set the mood. Some of the songs that I remember:
Reasons - Earth, Wind and Fire
Always and Forever - Heatwave
Ooooo Baby Baby - Linda Ronstant remake of Smokey Robinson classic
I have these songs on my Ipod, and whenever I hear them, they bring back awkward memories. I wonder what that psychotic b---- is doing now? Probably making some poor guy miserable. . .

Witchdoctor by Dr. Demento
"I want to sink the Love Boat with you on it"
by Steve Stiletto and the Switch Blades.
Seriously, it was a tape my boarding school roommate brought up from Jax, and I snagged.
Nothing says I love you like Ska
You know that guy named Isaac,
He's so ****ing rad,
He can make any ***-damned drink you've ever had
I want to sink the Love Boat,
With you on it

Well, to quote Monty Python, "I got better." Though if I'm still quoting Monty Python, I wonder how much better I actually got.

Ooh Monty Python is funny....
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"No it isn't"
"Yes it is"
"No it isn't"
"See? We're arguing right now!"
"No we aren't"
Lol......

Ever since answering questions like this and getting the mods to come after me, my official position is that sex is only a rumor. Furthermore, so are genitals. All babies come from a stork.
And besides, even if copulation was real, people would obviously only use it to reproduce. Cuz otherwize it would be icky.

I don't get it. Do genital warts come from the stork too?
I'm confused.
Someone tell the stork he can have his genital warts back!

George Benson's Breezin' album...though not the title cut, probably something obsure on side 2. Yeah, that's right, I said "side 2", it was a vinyl LP, I lost my cherry way back in the dark ages!

I don't think there was music. But if I could go back in time, Eruption (by Van Halen) seems strangely appropriate.

First time was actually in a church, so no music for me. Second time was a year later in my thunderbird with Hank Williams-Country Boys Can Survive.

LOL
It was either Dark Side of the Moon or Elton John's Greatest Hits. Those two albums were in heavy rotation everytime my ex-girlfriend and I were together. Hard to remember which of those two was playing the first time, though.
Is it terrible that I just don't remember?
