Introductions - Evenings all!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I got hooked on cycling about a year ago, a few of my friends pepper these forums and they are the ones responsible for getting me hopelessly hooked. It started out as just a commute and now I have three bikes...and have put in just under 1000 miles, though I am still definitely an amateur who can't really tell a bottom bracket from a groupset...wait aren't they related? Anyways pleased to meet you all!

Hello Noodles, who are these fiends (or friends, as the case may be) who have introduced you to bicycling? Other than the self-admitted hal, of course? If you've got three bikes we can't really call you an amateur.
What bikes have you got?
Welcome to BF!

I said three bikes, though they are all rather old school, I have an 18 year old Centurion LeMans Rs, a LeJeune also about 20 years old, and I have a GT Agressor, so not exactly a sterling collection of bikes. Though I have put quite a few miles on the Centurion, and 3 bikes or none I'm still definitely an amateur.
