So I recently lost about 13 lbs int he period of about 21 weeks. so not all that rapidly. I went for a ride the other night only about 20 miles, but it was ALL hills, so it was pretty tough. I came home and felt ok, but yesterday i was totally drained a felt a bit lightheaded and spacy, and today a little bit as well.
Is this maybe a nutrition thing? I eat pretty well and consume roughly 1800 calories/day
I'm 23 years old and male at 147 lbs. It might help to note yesterday i gorged and ate about 3000 calories trying to make myself feel better, but it didn't help much. After the ride I should have probably eaten more, I only had maybe 400 calories after. Making for about 1600 for that day.
Whats up with me? Am I dieting/exercising too hard? I don't think so?
No, you're not bonking. Unless you were on a starvation diet, 20 miles isn't long enough to bonk, and if you ate 3000 calories yesterday, you are definitely NOT anywhere near a bonk now!!
You are probably just tired. Is 20 miles a normal ride for you ... or do you normally do more or less?

Where are your calories coming from? If you had to break down your macronutrient profile into %fat %carb %pro what would you guess?
What foods do you consume most often (bread, steak, apples, pizza etc)?
An all-hill ride can suck the carbs out of you pretty fast, gear down.

20 miles isnt bad at all for me thats what's so weird.. maybe I am just not sleeping well or something. I eat a pretty high amount of carbs. And a good amount of protein as well. My calories are probably (very rough estimate) 60% carbs, 30% protein and 10% fat.
I usually have bananna for breakfast. ppj sandwhich with pretzels and yogurt for lunch, and then chicken or pasta or some sort of meaty soup for dinner. my snacks consist of carrots, grapes, pretzels, and chips/salsa
I am probably just tired but am just starting to worry myself of malnutrition after feeling somewhat lightheaded. Although I really think I eat pretty decently (especially for someone my age)
