I've never tried this before, and just recently found out that some of the ski areas do it here. This summer I plan on giving it a try. It just looks like a blast... I've heard you can only go on the access roads and not just anywhere, but that's ok... I know Breckenridge does it, other areas? Anyone been there, done that?

Never done the ski area in Breck.... but have done Keystone,Vail and Winter Park..... all are great.......... There are a lot of trails to ride....Not just service roads... Enjoy!!! Gonna be about 6 weeks before anything is open though!

Look like a cool ride! If I ever get a mountain bike (depending on finances and fitness), I would love to try that out when I gets good enough on mountain biking :)

I did Winter Park a couple years ago - it's a blast. If you want to shell out the cash, you can buy a lift ticket and just ride the fast downhills all day - make sure your brakes are tuned up. If you're cheap, and looking for a workout, like myself, park at the bottom, get on your bike, ride uphill as much as you can take it, then enjoy the fruits of your labor with a downhill. As far as I remember, the parking was free, so aside from gas money to get there, it can be a real cheap day. And the trails offer a lot of terrain variety, miles of singletrack with all kinds of difficulty levels available.

There are so many other trails in Winter Park to ride for free..... I rarely get to the actual resort in the summer.... I love that place!
