I have been researching a new road/ commuter bike lately and finally pulled the trigger and purchased one. I am stoked to be able to spend less time in my Tundra especially with rising gas costs and traffic. I look forward to adding a little green in my life. The fitness and cardio benefits are great for my health too.
Just dropped by the website. I figured their had to be a forum for bike enthusiasts so I typed in bike forums and Whammo, this great site popped up and I have spent some time reading some various threads of interests and liked what I saw. I shall be hanging around. Thanks for all your recomendations, advice, and past posts. Good stuff Bike forums people.:D

I purchased a 2006 Marin Lucas Valley Compact. It's price was reduced pretty low so I had to jump on it. It road like a dream. At 37, his is my first new bike ever. I think I like it more than my Toyota Tundra. I am starting to commute now 3-4 days a week via bicycle and ACE train.

That's the right attitude for successful bike commuting!
