I noticed in, I believe, Velo News that this race series took place in Spokane around July 7. Did you see any of the racing?

Yup,
I saw a few of the Crits. downtown, Pretty fast!!!! I think the 35 - 40 year olds averaged better than 32 mph, Steve Hegg won. The 70 plus guys were pretty respectable too. Lots of cool bikes, it looked like most of the guys racing were riding steel frames. I had planned to ride the Time Trial until I got sick etc.
