Anyone tried these on their tandem? Think they might hold up? I am looking for a 700x32 tire for our Rumba that will take us through Alaska. I tried a pair of Marathon XR 35s - but my chain stays don’t offer enough clearance. Frustrating, because I really liked the look of those tires.

I have them on a single bike, not the tandem. On pavement, they are relatively fast and offer great traction even in sharp corners. On fire roads/gravel they are also excellent.

The sidewalls are not to stiff, but at 80psi they should to fine. I can't guarantee it, though. I have been thinking of putting them on the tandem, but since we very rarely hit any gravel at all it doesn't make much sense.
