Okay, so I got a really sweet deal on a set of older Modolo anatomic road bars this weekend, but when I got home, I found the deal to not be so "sweet".

The right side drop is bent inward right at the second bend.

What I would like to know is if it is safe to bend it back, the best way to do it, and I can I trust the integrity of the alloy once it's done?

Thanks.

Given that you have already bought the bars you can try. Two ways to go. You can fill the bars with fine sand and then bend them back into shape. Alternatively you can buy a spring which is used by plumbers for the same purpose and use that. If there are no visible cracks when this is done then I'd have a go at using them myself.
