Introductions - *looks around, decides to post here*

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

(Actually, I think this is my fourth post here, but I was waiting until I actually had a bike. :p)

I'm 19, live in Ohio, and am getting into biking for commuting part of the way to work. (Yeah, I found that forum already. ;))

I'll admit, last time I rode a bike was a few years ago, but based on the 10 feet that I rode my new (old) bike, I think I'll pick it back up just fine. :)

The cage is an 86 VW Golf diesel... 43.5 MPG for the win. :) And I can juuuust fit the bike inside with the front wheel taken off. A bit tight fit on the rear wheel... not sure if it'll fit fully aired up. I might retrofit 700c wheels - I think that comes out to an 0.3" reduction in standover height, which is good for me. (It's a BIT big on me.)

So, here she is:

A Schwinn World... 10 speeds of fury, and all of $30. So, can I stay? :D

You can stay, but we need better pictures over at the Classic & Vintage forum (or did I miss them?).

Welcome to BF!

Welcome aboard. Interesting looking bottle cage.

East Hill, only working camera I've got is a camera phone. :(

I guess I could pick up a pack of AAs and get my mom's camera working again (I think that's all it needs, but it hasn't been powered up in forever...)

-VELOCITY-, I just noticed that the bottle had come partway out in that pic. :o The bottle is wrapped in a velcro felt side, and then the cage is a velcro hook side.
